Blinken, escorted by “Israeli” War Minister Yoav Gallant, traveled to Kerem Shalom Border Crossing, an “Israeli” entry point into Gaza which lies a few kilometers south of the border city of Rafah, where he saw dozens of trucks waiting to enter - as well as several “Israeli” military tanks parked nearby, according to an AFP journalist.

In a meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem, Blinken’s aides said he raised the United States’ concerns on the rate of aid entering Gaza.

The crossing was opened by the “Israeli” government on the day of a visit by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and called for more humanitarian aid deliveries into the territory - in a visit that aims to push towards a ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal, according to the US State Department.
